Inviting Members
Only fund managers can invite new members to a fund.
Sending Invitations
- Navigate to your fund's detail page.
- Click Invite Members.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
- The invitee receives an email with a link to join.
Invitation Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Invitation sent, waiting for response |
| Accepted | Member has joined the fund |
| Rejected | Invitation was declined |
Configuring Heads
When a member joins (or via the members management page), you can set the number of heads they hold:
- More heads = higher contribution per schedule
- More heads = larger share of interest at maturity
- Default is 1 head per member
Force-Adding Members
Fund managers can also directly add members by email without waiting for acceptance. The member will receive a notification that they've been added.
Tips
- Invitations expire after a set period — resend if needed.
- Members can only belong to a fund once (no duplicate memberships).
- Communicate the fund rules and contribution expectations before inviting.
